Profile
Mr. Allan Ogoi, FCIArb, is a Fellow certified Arbitrator and ADR expert registered in the United Kingdom, Kenya and Uganda. He practices under the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, The Centre of Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (CADER) and the International Center for Arbitration and Mediation Kampala (ICAMEK).
He holds an LL.B (Hons) from Uganda Christian University (UCU), a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LDC) and an Advanced Certificate of International Arbitration from CIArb. He is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and is a member of CIArb (UK & Kenya), EALS, ULS, CADER and ICAMEK. He also serves as Treasurer of the ULS Jinja Circuit.
Allan heads OLC’s ADR Department and advises on both international and domestic arbitration proceedings across commercial sectors, with an excellent grasp of procedure—including recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards. His broader practice spans Intellectual Property, Labour Law, Real Estate, Cultural Institutions, Environmental assessments, Insolvency & Restructuring, Constitutional & Human Rights, Banking & Finance, Insurance, Immigration, tort, statutory compliance and international sale of goods.
